BBI Logistics was established in 2017, when we booked our first truckload from Utah to Pennsylvania. Our small team of 3 people, managed all operations from our first office in Columbus, Ohio. In the first year, we expanded our workforce to 19 employees, generated $12 million in revenue, and started building our unique company brand and culture.

After relocating our HQ to downtown Columbus, we achieved another significant milestone. We were awarded with our first "Best Places to Work" in Columbus, Ohio by Columbus Business First.

We’ve now secured this prestigious award four times, demonstrating our consistent excellence and commitment to fostering an exceptional workplace environment.

We established five core values that guide us in the way we conduct our business; one of those values is philanthropy. In 2020, a difficult year for many, we were fortunate to find success and growth. Our desire to give back to the communities we live in led us to found "BBI Gives Back". This is our philanthropic arm that allows us to give to those in need.

The Columbus Business Journal recognized us as the 2021, #1 Fastest Growing Company in Central Ohio. This was based on our annual revenue and the rate at which we grew. The same year we were recognized as the 58th Largest Central Ohio Privately Held Company.

We celebrated 4 years of business by opening our first satellite office in Tampa, Florida. Shortly after, we received our first national recognition as a ‘Certified: Great Place to Work.’

On December 6th, we broke ground on what will become the first corporate office HQ for BBI Logistics. This will allow us to create 953 new, full-time jobs over the next 10 years. The 155,000 sq. foot office will be located in the Arena District, next to the crew stadium, and will be the first structure within Astor Park. The expected completion date is Fall of 2024.

For the second year in a row, BBI was recognized as one of Columbus’ 50 Fastest Growing Companies and one of the Largest Central Ohio Privately Held Companies of 2022. We completed our 5th year of business with two operating office locations and 200+ employees.

Adding an asset-based entity strengthens our position as a growing leader in the logistics industry. By combining our strengths, in both brokerage and asset services, it will allow us to offer more end-to-end solutions and competitive pricing for our customers.

BBI Logistics joins the elite ranks of the Inc. 5000. This award showcases America's fastest-growing private companies. Our overall rank was 1143rd in America, 19th in Ohio, and 7th in Columbus.

Selling Power Magazine ranked BBI one of the 50 best companies to sell for in the United States for the 2nd year in a row. The other awards collected in 2023 include: One of the Largest Central Ohio Privately Held Companies, 17th Fastest Growing Companies in Columbus, #7 Best Places to work in Columbus, and our first National Recognition Award from Inc. 5000.
