Oversized loads exceed standard legal size/weight limits, meaning they
require special permits and coordination to ship safely and legally.
This includes loads that surpass 8.5 feet wide, 53 feet long, 13.5
feet tall, and/or 80,000 lbs.
What kinds of permits do you need to ship oversized freight?
To ship oversized freight, you'll need special permits from each
state, county, or city your shipment travels through; additionally,
escort vehicles may be required for larger shipments. However, it is
the responsibility of the carrier to obtain these resources, and we'll
connect you with the right carrier for your freight.
What are some common kinds of oversized freight?
Some common kinds of oversized freight are construction equipment and
